Within the scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, a certain number of employees are required to receive first aid training at workplaces. The number of people who should have received first aid training in the workplace is specified in the First Aid Regulation. In this training to be given; In any accident or life-threatening situation, drug-free applications with existing tools and equipment will be explained at the scene, without seeking medical equipment, in order to save life or prevent the situation from getting worse, until medical assistance is provided by the healthcare professionals. Based on Article 16 of the First Aid Regulation; It is obligatory to have personnel who have received the “Basic First Aid Training” certificate in the workplaces. The purpose of basic first aid training; It is to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to make a quick, effective and most appropriate intervention to the patient / injured by avoiding purposeless solutions and wrong interventions until professional teams arrive in the face of an emergency.
