Description
It is a standard that guides the production and control of cabling kits. Standards starting with 6xx are discrimination standards consisting of rejection/acceptance criteria and created to improve the ability to discriminate. At the end of the training, the participants will have a CIS (Certified IPC Specialist) certificate, which will be valid for 2 years.

There is no practical application in this training yet. This issue is being worked on at IPC and it is planned to be included in the training content in the coming days. Within the scope of the training, besides the ideal process information, the criteria of “target”, “acceptable”, “process indicator” and “defect” are evaluated over 599 visual examples and positive feedback is given for the ideal process.

While it can be used by quality control technicians during the control of the process, the guide that technical personnel can always consult during production is used as a standard.

It is a recommended training for personnel involved in cabling design, production (wiring and electromechanical assembly) and production and input quality control. Module-1 is required to obtain a certificate. Other modules can be taken as optional in the desired order.

Process and Achievement
These programs are the Training and Certification Programs of IPC (Formerly known as “Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits”). IPC Certified Technical Personnel (CIS) Trainings are only given by IPC Certified Trainers CIT (Certified IPC Trainer) or MIT (Certified IPC Master Trainer). Participants in the training are subject to closed and open book exams. 70% or higher in written exams; In applications, it is necessary to achieve 70% or higher success. Participants in the training are entitled to receive a certificate when they successfully pass the certification exam. Classes with a maximum of 15 people in 600, 610 and 620 standards, which are the standards of acceptance criteria; In the J-STD-001 and IPC 7711/7721 standards, which are the application standards, it is limited to 12 people. Participants are entitled to receive a CIS certificate, which will be valid for two years from the date of successfully passing the compulsory part of the training. The certificate is valid until the end of the month in which the training is received after two years. If necessary, CIS certification periods can be extended by CITs for an additional 90 days. In order not to lose the certificate renewal rights of certified CISs, IPC certified trainers must attend the Certificate Renewal Training given by CIT or MIT. In case of failure in the exam, participants will be notified earlier than 24 hours; They are re-examined no later than 90 days.
