Sensors are widely used in many applications and sensor technology has become a key enabling technology in many cases. New types of sensors are possible with new materials produced using advanced processing technologies. Today, with the increase in digitalization, the orientation towards smart sensors has become a necessity.
Sensor technology appears to have many important areas, including military, aerospace, pharmaceutical research, medical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, industrial applications, agriculture and food safety. Sensor technology represents the ideal field to foster the development of innovative applications, measurements and strategies, including the use of transducers, smart materials, receptors, nanostructures and the like. The training covers developments in Sensor technology and related fields.
